DMCA Copyright Infringement Notice

Muvitu.com complies with the Federal Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) when responding to notices of alleged infringement under the DMCA and other applicable laws.

As part of our response to the notification of copyright infringement, we may terminate, suspend, restrict access to the object of infringement, including, in whole or in part, delete the object of infringement located on the site, including its subdomains.

The copyright infringement notification requirements set out below are intended to comply with Muvitu.com's rights and obligations under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, in particular section 512 (c).

Requirements for notification of copyright infringement:

  1. Having full information about the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly violated.
  2. Data on the copyrighted work that has been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works on one site on the Internet are covered by one notice, a list of such works on that site.
  3. Information about the URL of such above works.
  4. Address, telephone number and e-mail address where you can contact the person who filed the notice of copyright infringement.
  5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, of familiarization with the liability for perjury, including for deceiving the authority to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly violated.

The notice must contain a statement of accuracy in accordance with section 512 (f), which states that anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents a material or activity infringing copyright may be held liable for damages.
